What am I doing?

So, where did we last finish? When I was back In Coffs Harbour,
since then I arrived at the surf camp and have been here for almost 2
weeks now. I live on a beach called Arrawarra,
also known as paradise, it has white soft sand, perfect spilling
waves, and constant Australian sunshine.

What am I doing here?
I work whilst learning to surf, I'm a Cadet. My job
here is to work in Linen, I change beds, I clean rooms, all
that exciting stuff, my mum is most pleased
I have this position as I'm someone who doesn't
EVER change or make their bed at home.
I love working here, because of the people but also
the fact that we have speakers in linen so I spend my whole
time singing and dancing around whilst washing and changing beds.
Every morning I wake up at 5:30am
(I know that sounds super early but I never fully got over
jet lag so my body naturally always gets up around that time anyway
so It's not as bad as it sounds), I walk to breakfast, I surf for two hours,
I then have my second breakfast of the day and then the work begins.
I'm supposed to work till 3 each day, however more often than not
we finish between 12-2. I spend the rest of my time,
surfing, sunbathing, mooching around, just living the hard life really.
Occasionally in the afternoons we either do fitness or yoga,
the yoga I can do, the fitness not so much. We do circuits
on the beach for 1 hour, in 35 degree heat, by the end I honestly
feel like i'm ready to collapse, it's the type of thing my Auntie
Judith would enjoy, I only really turn up because the guy
who takes the session walks around tanned, topless and has a 6 pack.

I live on the 'hippie bus' (that makes me sound like a gypsy) it has beds
down either sides and shelves above and below the bed, I actually
really love living here, the only trouble is the walk from
my bus to the bathroom. If I need a wee at 3am, I do that
thing where I wait as long as possible until I burst
and then I have to trek it all the way to the bathroom
which feels about a mile away (it's not
but it feels that far at 3am).

So far I'm loving every second here, I'm in paradise,
I surf whenever I want, I've met the most amazing people and
every morning when I go to the toilet I can hear the waves crashing
in the sea, there is literally nothing I want more in life.
I stay here in total for 2 months and then I travel
up towards surfers paradise to see Rob and Sue.

I can't really think of anything else to tell you,
so I'm probably going to leave it here for now,
I hope everyone is well at home,

lots of love
Robyn xx
