Life At Mojo

The thing is when you live on a camp
pretty much in the middle of nowhere, surrounded
by the same people every day, with not a care in the world
you tend not to interact with the outside.

I'm in a Mojo bubble, I sleep, I eat and I surf,
that's my life and anything outside of that feels like a
million miles away. I'm going to try
and keep you updated with everything I'm doing
but it's hard. I feel like it's a chore to check my phone and
my wifi, I only really do it because my mum would go crazy
if I didn't message her every day.

Anyway, here's my update,
since I last spoke to you I've managed to
cut open my leg by going on a rope swing and landing on a rock,
I've got surfers rip, (which is when you pull a muscle
under your ribs) and i've acquired 30 mosquito bites.
Slowly but surely I'm destroying my body living in this camp,
but I wouldn't have it any other way.
I still love waking up every morning at 5:30am and surfing
in the Australian sunrise, my surfing has dramatically
improved from riding a foamie on the white wash
to a hard board on the green waves. Although
there is still SO much I need to learn
I wouldn't change a thing about my life right now.

I've been here a month now, it feels like I've been
here years but at the same time January has flown by,
I don't know if that makes any sense but I'm just worried
that if the next month goes as fast as this one did I won't be
ready to leave Arrawarra beach.

It's late right now so I'm going to end this little update
here, I hope everyone is well back home,

lots of love
Robyn
